The Introverted Crafter

I tried some beading again this week. It didn't go as planned, but I still wanted to put a picture of it on here. Hopefully, at a later date, I'll be able to look back and see the progress I have made.  I've also made a pair of vintage style earrings, using some odd beads in my stash. The top beads are resin ones I made.  I've also been working on the stitch. An eighth of the way through now.  I showed my brother this, and he pointed out the bit on the left looks like a dog at the moment. I assure you, its not a dog!  Until next time  Ems 

I decided to make another pop up platform card this week, using muppets stamps. I wanted to make it look like a bit of a theatre, bringing to mind the early muppets days.  I've also been working on the stitch. 11% done now  Until next time Ems

I tried to do the brick stitch this week to make a necklace. It's curved a little, bit not bad for the first attempt.  I think the issue is the seed beads weren't uniform in size.  I've also been working on the stitch. I've made another birthday card this week, using tim holtz theodore and winter things dies, and lion king dies for the background.  I didn't want to do a typical brown bear, hence the orange one. I was going to put a sentiment on the front but I had no room so it's on the inside.  I've also been working on the stitch. Over 8% done now and there's a smidgen of colour.  It's coming along nicely. I wish I could do the whole row at once thing, but I would end up with a tangled mess of threads and a very stressed Emma! The pattern keeper is great for doing one colour at a time though, with careful counting.  Until next time Ems

I've got a sore hand today, because instead of doing my usual 300 stitches yesterday, I did one shy of a thousand. I've finished the black (does it count as a colour?) Not sure if you can get an idea of what it is, but I can see it coming together.  The big bit in the middle is a clue, as is the centre bottom.  I've also made a necklace, using seed beads, disco beads and spacer beads.  Until next time Ems
