The Introverted Crafter

 I've made a couple of things this week. Before I get onto them, here is the update on the stitch. I've also made a bracelet.  Finally, I've made a mixed media piece. The base is a star, which I covered with paper. I then used a wooden hexagon and resin clocks as a base, with a calico craft deer piece as the focal point. I also used some grunge board curls here and there. I added resin roses, metal leaves, and a banner to finish. Colourings were prima waxes and paints, and I added some art stones as well.  Until next time Ems 

Sometimes I wonder why I do this blog, especially when very few people ever see it. Then I realise that its more for me. For someone who has had practically non existent self esteem for the vast majority of their life, and who has great trouble interacting with people for fear of judgement, even doing something like putting what I create out there is a big step.  This week, I have made a pair of earrings. The picture doesn't do them justice as they really glow.  I have started a new mixed media piece, which I will share once its finished.  Also, here is the update on the stitch.  Even if it gets to the point where its only me reading this,  Until next time, Ems

 In the spirit of positivity, I'm going to ignore what I haven't done this week, and concentrate on what I have done.  Here's the update on the stitch.  I also decided to make a beach themed necklace, using beads in my stash and a funky turtle charm.  Until next time Ems 

 I've been looking back at previous blog posts, mainly to see what I have made in the past, but it did make me realise something. I tend to be very negative with regards to my creativity. There are constant remarks about it being at a low ebb, but every week, I have still made something. I'm wondering if I use it as an excuse, both so that I don't have to make too much of an effort and, if I think something I made isn't great, I've got an excuse as to why. I need to be more positive, yet still accept that if things go wrong, they go wrong.  Anyway, onto this weeks makes. I've managed to finish the third page of my stitch. I hate confetti stitching when I'm doing it, but boy do I love the results.  I've done some jewellery this week. A simple bracelet, and also a dreamcatcher keyring.  So, from next week, more positive posts and hopefully that will lead to more creativity! Ems
