The Introverted Crafter

Not done too much this week. It's been a bust week at work and, to be honest, I'm still grieving the loss of my little jinx. I have made some earrings though, including some studs, for the first time. The earrings are made with resin, coloured with resin colourants and glitter.  I've also been working on the stitch. Again, slow progress this week, but progress is progress.  Until next time Ems 

Short one this week. I did plan to do more, but my cat jinx passed away, so I have not been in the right mindset. I've done some resin work. Some fails and some successes. I've learned that stone chips sink, but I've successfully put sand in resin. The mistake I made before was putting sand in resin, when it should have been the other way around.  Here's the update on the stitch  Until next time  Ems 

Too hot to make any resin pieces this week, so instead I've made a lawn fawn card.  I didn't have a big enough grass die to cover the whole card, so improvised by cutting out a circle.  Here's the update on the stitch. One third through! Until next time Ems

I've made a few things this week. First, update on the stitch.  I've also made some resin trinket dishes and earrings, using resin8 opaque pigments and let's resin opal glitter.  I also decided to dig into my stash, to make a tag. I started by sticking various resin pieces down, painted them black, then pink. When dry, I coated them with silver wax, added some filigree corners, flowers, and mini art stones. Finally, I added an appropriate sentiment.  Until next time Ems

I've felt a bit directionless this week, but I have made some stuff. First off, here's the stitch.  I've also made some jewelry.  I also made a pop up platform card with a spiderman theme. I used tim holtz city scape dies, and die cut a spiderman in black shrink plastic.  Finally, I've been working on some resin letters.  Until next time Ems

Working on resin again this week. Before I get to that, here's the update on the stitch.  I've also made some earrings. Finally, I made a resin heart. I did make a mistake trying to heat the bubbles out cos it melted the letters a bit, but it still looks OK Until next time Ems
