Second post of today, and it's back to decluttering and my makes. Decluttering first. An Avon perfume. This was given to me as a gift. I've used it all up so bin. Deodorant. Used up so bin. Ankle socks that don't quite go past the heel. Think they've shrunk (my feet certainly haven't grown.) Bin. Knee high socks. The scourge of my fat calves. Bin. Sherlock and John necklaces. Bought these ages ago from a very talented woman on Etsy. I have a number of Sherlock scenes in boxes from her so I've decided to donate these to charity. Disney badges. Got loads of Disney merchandise so some of it has to go. Charity. A box file. Used to store my university stuff. It's been about a decade since I've even looked in here, which is depressing. But life doesn't always turn out how you thought it would. It's time to move on. Charity shop. Now onto the makes. First things first, I completed page 4 of the Disney stitch!!! I a...

Beadhaul box review!

When the teaser came up for this, I made a comment, if you like Pina Colada. However, I got the wrong song - it's Club Tropicana!!! (No free drinks though) Here's the card. It's reminding us of a summer which, looking at the weather, has truly gone. The card showing everything in it. No tutorial card this time, but the tutorials are always online. Pineapple charms. The gems in these are so much brighter than they are in the photo. Fish connectors. I can see a Pisces vibe here, which is obviously good for me! Palm charm trees. These would be good either with brightly coloured beads or a bright charm.  More pineapple charms, but totally different from the other ones. Seahorse charms. Interesting colour on these.  A turtle pendant. I love this. Already trying to figure out if i can put something behind it to get a turquoise shell colour Natural shell beads. This is the kind of thing I'd like to see more of in future - beads that aren...

Altered notepad

First things first, here is this weeks decluttering items. A pair of green tights. Great looking on someone like Bernadette from Big Bang, but with someone with bigger legs like mine, they make me look like Kermit the frog. Bin.  A pair of orange tights. Same thing as above (except the frog part). To be honest I think I'm a little old for coloured tights. Bin.  A striped scarf. Never worn it, no idea where I got it. It's gone to a charity shop. Winter hat. I got this a couple of years ago as a christmas present but I've got a Kermit the Frog hat and gloves (sometimes I do like to look like Kermit!) so this one has gone to a charity shop.  A trilby. Another present, but unfortunately it does not suit me, so I've taken it to a charity shop.  A wooden toy. Got one as a present, it didn't work so we took it back and I added the extra money to get this one. It's nice, but I don't need it. I don't have room to put everything up ...

No I'm not that stupid!

The title refers to this weeks decluttering, as the first two items are credit cards. Cut up and put in the bin, I have not used them for years now, and don't intend to. As far as I'm concerned, if I can't afford it I'm not buying it. I obviously didn't take pictures beforehand, as I would just invite fraudsters. The other items this week are: A dreamcatcher I got from the Isle of Wight. I loved it, but unfortunately in twisting it around I snapped it and rendered it useless. In the bin. A gypsy skirt. Not worn for a year or so and I prefer the 50's style ones now, so it's off to the charity shop. A lace top. I don't think it suits me, so it's going to the charity shop. A London T shirt. Never worn, don't really like the boxy shape, so to the charity shop it goes. A blue lace top. I've had a bit of wear from this over the years but it's size 6, and I am most definitely not. To the charity shop it goes! Next ite...
