I've been attempting resin again this week, with some successes and some failures. Before I get onto that, here's the update on the stitch. Three quarters of the way done! Now it gets onto the part where you cannot get a stitch wrong, or one of the boys will end up cross eyed or something. I've also made a card, using paper dolls, remnant rubs, a snarky sentiments, globes and tonic drops. The original plan was butterflies in the globes, but I didn't have ones small enough. I compensated by adding wings to the paper dolls. Onto the resin. This would probably have been better with the sand and blue water reversed, but it still works. If you look closely, there's a whale just cresting the water on the right hand side. This is better, with the clear and coloured resin the correct way around. I've learned that jelly fish sink head down, so layers would be better, but I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to match the colouring. Still, it works. ...
