Made a few things this week. First, here's the update to the stitch. Less than 14k black stitches to go(!) I've also tried to make a slightly asymmetrical necklace, using the inspiration of planets. There are star charms between each two planets, and there is a small gem on one end to represent a meteor.  I've also finished my little Christmas presents to go with my cards. I made resin bookmarks, using cricut vinyl names  Until next time Ems

Not feeling it

I've had a week off, but it feels like I've not had time to get into a creative mindset. Chores got in the way which has frustrated me, blocking my creativity which has further frustrated me, and on and on it goes in a vicious cycle.  OK, rant over. I did make a couple of things. First, here's the update on the stitch. Working on one colour at a time is actually easier.  I've made a couple of necklaces, one a blue and silver theme with hematite donut beads, and one an orange and blue theme with bicones.  I feel the blue and orange one is my favourite, cos its kind of branching out on what I would normally do in terms of pattern.  Until next time Ems

Up in the air

Not much done this week. Life gets in the way sometimes. I did do a birthday card, using hot aitlr balloon stamps and lawn fawn cloud border dies to make a hilly landscape.  I have also been working on the stitch. Still a lot of black to go!  To give you an idea, here's the pattern keeper app with the black stitches left to do highlighted.  You can also see on the left hand side how many stitches I have done/have to go, and what percentage I am currently at. Honestly, I love this app! Until next time Ems

Just a spoonful of sugar helps the elephants go round...

I've got that title wrong there haven't I. Oh well. Few things made this week, and I'm getting back to normal. At least as normal as I'll ever be. First thing, the stitch.  The pattern keeper app is awesome. Makes it so much easier to mark off stitches. I'm going to attack this one colour by colour now. Starting off with black, which is a whopping 19,000 plus stitches.  I've also made a bracelet, using donut beads, eye pins and an elephant charm.  Card wise I've finishes my Christmas cards, using a creative expressions edger dies, mirror card, snowflakes and tonic nuvo drops.  Finally, a Mary Poppins card using a cityscape die, kindred stamps, and a lawn fawn cloud stencil.  Wish you could get more kindred stamps in the UK but they no longer deliver here since brexit. Until next time Ems
