Bailing out

Few things made this week using decorative bails. I've had these stones in my stash for so long, and couldn't figure out how to get a jump ring through them.  I've also been working on the stitch. Here's the latest update.  Until next time Ems

Easy as 123

Still suffering with sciatica, but its starting to ease. It does mean the cross stitching is going slowly, as I can't do it for as long as I'd like, but here's this weeks update.  I've also been working on some resin pieces this week, making a bunch of keyrings. Each were made with mica powders and gold or silver flakes. I have triangle split rings big enough to go into the pieces (normal split rings don't work) and each key ring has a charm, which is a good way to get rid of stash.  Until next time Ems

Mermaids

I found some lawn fawn ideas on their blog to make a couple of happy birthday cards this week.  This was made using rub a dub and mermaid stamps.  This was just the mermaid stamps, then tonic studios papers I had in my stash for the background, and to cut out the letters using lawn fawn Oliver abcs. The pennants are from a set I got in the works.  I've also finally managed page 8 of the stitch!! Two thirds complete! I feel like I'm starting to get back to normal, though I still can't walk far. Until next time Ems

Still ow...

Still annoyingly I'm pain, so not much done on the stitching front.  I've also made an anniversary card, using lawn fawn bubbles of joy stamps and a visible image stencil.  Until next time Ems

Ow

For those few of you who read my blog, you may have wondered why I didn't post last week. Well, I've not been doing much. Unfortunately sciatica has put paid to much of anything besides being in a lot of pain. So, there is an update to the stitch, but not much of one.  I've also made a card for a colleague who is also off sick, using lawn fawn dandy day.  Until next time Ems
