A colleague left this week, ready to start her police office training, so I made a funny card for her. I found the definition on Pinterest, then decided to do my own line up for the inside.  I've also been working on the stitch. Here's the update. I've stuck to the pirates theme this week. First, here's the update on the stitch. I'm about 63% through now.  I've also made a beaded necklace, using various beads, including some skull ones.  Until next time, and merry Christmas 🎅 Ems

I've made a bracelet this week, using disco beads, bead caps, gemstone chips and a decorative clasp. Sometimes the clasp is the most important part, it doesn't have to be a simple lobster one.  I've also been working on the stitch. Over 60% done now.  Until next time Ems

I dont usually mind the winter months, preferring them to summer, but this year I feel I've missed the crisp autumn, and everything is soggy and grey. I wish we had more hours of light, or at least better quality light for the little we do have.  I've been working on the stitch. 56% done now.  I've also made another couple if pairs of earrings.  Until next time Ems

Quick one this week, as I've not been able to do much. I did make two pairs of earrings, using clay beads and charms.  I've also been working on the stitch. I'm over 50% through now.  Until next time Ems

Made a card this week, all Lawn Fawn supplies but 3 different stamp sets. I'm trying to work with what I have in a different way. I can't afford to get more stuff at the moment.  I've also been working on the stitch. Almost halfway through now.  Until next time Ems

First time in a few weeks I've made something other than a bracelet,but first, here's a bracelet! I've made a card this week, with a fizzy drink theme. A large part of my craft stash is....inaccessible for the near future, so im having to get creative (ironically)  I was trying to get some recognisable brands, so there's coke bottles, fantastic bottles, diet coke cans and sprite cans.  Also been working on the stitch. Well, bracelet. Still have other things to do at the moment, so as much as I hate to say it, crafting has to take a bit of a backseat. I've used clay beads to make a bracelet this week.  I've also been stitching. Finally got all the black done, so can start on the colours.  Until next time Ems

I've only made a couple of bracelets this week. Got other priorities at the moment, which I'm keeping under my hat until I find out whether they pan out. The bracelets are made from seed beads and bicone beads, as well as chains, and are inspired by a Pinterest I found.  I've also been working on the stitch. Under 2000 black stitches to go now!  Definitely the right idea to do one colour at a time. It's going to be a lot easier pinpointing the colours once the black is complete.  Until next time Ems

Made a card this week, with a tea theme. I'm actually off this week, so im annoyed I haven't done more, but I've got other things on my mind. Adulting gets in the way of creativity sometimes.  If you're asking whether the glass in the corner is there to hide an error, I'm not answering.  Also been working on the stitch. Busy making jewellery again this week. First off, here's the update on the stitch. Under 6000 black stitches left now.  Onto the jewellery. First, here's a pair of earrings, made using spacer beads, crystals and some resin beads I made with the leftover resin from last week.  Next, a butterfly necklace, made using wooden beads and a rainbow of butterfly beads.  Until next time Ems

This week I've tried dirty pouring with resin. The candleholders are made with the traditional dirty pour technique, which is pouring colours one over the other into a beaker and then swirling it into a mould. The container was made by pouring separate layers of resin then using an ice lolly stick to mix them.  Also, here's the update on the stitch. I'm down to under 10,000 black stitches on the pirates stitch now, but its still too many! Here's the update.  It is going to make it easier for the rest of the colours in the long run though.  I've also made some jewellery, a couple of pairs of earrings and a necklace. I've used various beads, including spacer ones, which I really like.  I dont often like pink, but I really like this. Got a victoriana vibe. Good way to use some of those individual large beads as well.  Until next time Ems

I've made a couple of cards this week, using some new stamps I got, as well as lawn fawn cloud stencils or dies.  Sorry for the poor lighting. Its getting to the time of year where its dark when i go to work, so artificial lighting. At least I'm getting better at colouring.  I've also been working on the stitch. Less that 12000 black stitches to go, and 20% of the whole stitch complete.  Until next time Ems

Made a few things this week. First, here's the update to the stitch. Less than 14k black stitches to go(!) I've also tried to make a slightly asymmetrical necklace, using the inspiration of planets. There are star charms between each two planets, and there is a small gem on one end to represent a meteor.  I've also finished my little Christmas presents to go with my cards. I made resin bookmarks, using cricut vinyl names  Until next time Ems
