Lawn fawn grab bag 2025

Its that time of year again, it's lawn fawn grab bag time! For those who don't know, lawn fawn are a craft company and every year they do grab bags, the profits going to a nominated charity. Here's what was in my grab bag this year.  These are coloring stencils for a stamp set.  The dies for the same stamp set. Be a bit of a bugger if they didn't add the stamps wouldn't it!  Oh no, here they are!  A build a margarita die set.  Festive banners die. Always a useful thing to have.  A large let's celebrate die. Again, useful for a quick card.  A stitched maple leaf  die. Ironically I could have used the autumn leaves recently.  A winter wonderland arch die.  A slide and surprise die. I always like the mechanism dies, and this is worth over 30 bucks by itself  A falling leaves paper pad  Sentiment stamps that go with the goose die.  An embroidery die. I'm toying with the idea of getting the hoop die now.  Pin badges  ...

Heaven/hell

I decided to do a mixed media piece this week, based on heaven and hell. I started off by getting a heart blank, covering each half of it in a different tim holtz paper. I then got various resin pieces, painting them according to whether they went into heaven or hell. There are stars on both, but different designs for each half. There is a silver chain in the middle, and pieces crossing between heaven and hell are painted half in one theme, half in the other. Finally, I added some ephemera, including paper dolls for a demon and angel.  Ive also been working on the stitch. 20% down!  Until next time Ems

Sound the (bugle) horns

Ive got loads of bugle beads, and to be honest, i find them hard to use. Still, I attempted to use them this week to make a bracelet.  Ignore the little tail, im always afraid if I cut it too close it will come apart!  I also made some simple hoop earrings.  Here is the stitch update. Its coming along nicely.  Until next time Ems
