Not a great week creatively again. I have made a Christmas card and a birthday card though. The birthday card is for a 50th birthday, so I used the die set from my first tonic kit, with gold sequins for a golden anniversary vibe. The Christmas card uses stamps from a magazine, as well as Tim holtz christmas paper. This won't be the only Christmas design this year, as I only had five of these cards. Usually I turn to cross stitch when my creativity is low, but last night I realised the page I was working on this week has to be unpicked entirely. Its my fault, I misread and thought the two greyed out columns did not have to be stitched, but its a waste of a lot of thread, and a hell of a lot of time, so no updates this week. I did have one sublime experience this week, an afternoon tea from yumii patisserie in Newquay. Amazing cakes, well worth the money, and I will be going again!
