Not a great week creatively again. I have made a Christmas card and a birthday card though. The birthday card is for a 50th birthday, so I used the die set from my first tonic kit, with gold sequins for a golden anniversary vibe. The Christmas card uses stamps from a magazine, as well as Tim holtz christmas paper.
This won't be the only Christmas design this year, as I only had five of these cards.
Usually I turn to cross stitch when my creativity is low, but last night I realised the page I was working on this week has to be unpicked entirely. Its my fault, I misread and thought the two greyed out columns did not have to be stitched, but its a waste of a lot of thread, and a hell of a lot of time, so no updates this week.
I did have one sublime experience this week, an afternoon tea from yumii patisserie in Newquay. Amazing cakes, well worth the money, and I will be going again! Here are some cake photos for your viewing pleasure. Hint, if you go, make sure you get the scones and chocolate éclairs.
And here are the random photos for the week.
Until next time,
Ems
