I'm in a place where covid numbers are slightly worrying, and I'm not double jabbed, so I didn't really want to go anywhere when I had this week off. Judge me if you want to, its ultimately my choice. So, instead I used this week to make stuff!
This is a tag, using almost exclusively tim holtz ephemera. I've got a ridiculous amount of this, but sometimes it's difficult to figure out how to use it. The only things not tim holtz are the wooden fence, and the bows, which have also been in my stash since the dawn of time.
This is an altoid tin. The outside has resin shells, sprayed with distress oxide and coated with vintage silk wax. The inside lid has been sprayed with oxides, then a resin seahorse has been added, as well as calico craft parts (check the tiny diver). The lighthouse is a resin piece, with art stones added to the base where it didn't meet the bottom. Calico craft parts have been added. I wanted to make these more of a stormy feel, rather than a typical beach scene.
Using multi connector charms to make necklaces and use some of my bead stash up. I'm happy I'm using stuff up, but haven't got to the not buying new stuff stage yet.
Here is the update on the stitch.
Until next time
