Two posts today - first because I wanted to enter something into the thats crafty outnumbered challenge. I decided to do a door hanger.
Of course the hanger is two sided, so for the second side to carry on the theme I decided to do a time for bed side. I die cut stars, a moon, and some gears. The gears I glued onto the moon, and I embossed the stars, before painting them black and using the prima old gold wax to bring out the texture.
I started off by spraying the tag with Lindy's sprays, before adding texture paste and embossing powder through a numbers stencil. I then die cut a clock out of card, inking it brown and coating with crackle glaze, before using antiquing cream in the cracks. I left the face out as you can see, because the numbers in the gap are 12, so I added 3, 6 and 9 on the clock face, as well as the hands. Finally I added the flowers and film strip at the top.
